iOS Suffers Another Alarm Bug

Within the past few months, Apple’s had 2 alarm bugs. The first of which being the bug from Daylight Savings Time which iOS 4.2 was supposed to fix. Now there’s another. After the new year, forums were flooded with complaints of the iPhone’s alarm not going off. However, this only afffects one-time alarms because it causes them to be simply ignored.

According to an unconfirmed report by 9to5 Mac, the bug will fix itself on January 3rd. Until then, a recurring alarm will need to be set to capture the first two days of the new year. Recurring alarms aren’t affected and will go off as planned.
