As we predicted Apple today unveiled their new MacBook Airs, there are two sizes available either 11-inch or 13-inch models, in this article we will speak about the 11-inch model’s technical specifications and pricing.
All variants of the 11-inch models feature an 11.6-inch LED-backlit glossy widescreen display which supports a native resolution of 1366 x 768, NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics, a Mini DisplayPort, WiFi b/g/n, 2 x USB 2.0 ports, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, a 3.5mm headphone port and a Multi-Touch trackpad.
The cheapest model is available for $999, this gives you an Intel Core 2 Duo (1.4GHz) processor, 2GB of DDR3 SDRAM and 64GB of flash storage, in terms of internal hardware upgrades the only you can do is add another 2GB of DDR3 SDRAM, this will cost an extra $100.
The other 11-inch model costs $1,199.00, as standard you get an Intel Core 2 Duo (1.4GHz) processor, 2GB of DDR3 SDRAM and 128GB of flash storage. There are more internal upgrade options available with this variant, you can upgrade to a 1.6GHz Core 2 Duo chip for an extra $100, if you want 4GB of RAM this will also cost you an additional $100.

All 13-inch variants feature an 13.3-inch LED-backlit glossy widescreen display which supports a native resolution of 1440 x 900, the graphics are the same as the 11-inch model, such as the NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics, 2 x USB 2.0 ports, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, a Mini DisplayPort, WiFi b/g/n, a 3.5mm headphone port and a Multi-Touch trackpad.
The cheapest 13-inch model costs $1,299 and features an Intel Core 2 Duo (1.86GHz) processor, 2GB of DDR3 RAM and 128GB of flash storage, if you want you can add another 2GB of RAM for an extra $100.
The best 13-inch model costs $1,599, this has an identical spec as the previously mentioned model, however you get 256GB of flash storage instead of 128GB. You also get an extra upgrade option, you can add 2GB of RAM for $100 and you can also trade in your 1.8GHz chip for a 2.13GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor for an additional $100.
