Untethered 4.3.3 Jailbreak Released – Jailbreak Guide Updated

Last night the iPhone-Dev Team updated redsn0w for the 4.3.3 firmware. Luckily, Apple still has not patched@i0n1c’s untether exploit, seeing as an untether exploit for a device that is already able to be jailbroken(tethered) for life is not Apple’s top-priority.

For those of you who do not know, an untethered jailbreak means that you are free to let your battery die, reboot your device, and power off - without having to connect it to the computer, run redsn0w and boot it tethered.

This version of redsn0w, 0.9.6rc15, allows you to jailbreak the following devices:

  • iPhone 4 (GSM Model)
  • iPhone 3GS
  • iPod Touch 3G
  • iPod Touch 4G
  • iPad
